About

Aroon Up / Down — measures how many bars since the last N-bar high (Up) and low (Down). Values close to 100 mean a fresh extreme, close to 0 mean a stale one.

  • Up above 70 + Down below 30 = strong uptrend; the opposite = strong downtrend.
  • Both lines below 35 = range-bound; expect a breakout soon.
